About Conference

Atlantic Technological University and the ISSC2025 organizing committee would like to extend a warm Donegal welcome to all prospective participants of this year’s conference. For 2026 we have developed a special conference theme of

“Intelligent Systems for a Sustainable Future”

This encompasses the rich 36-year history of the conference and will appeal to electronic engineers and computer scientists, in addition to those from wider cross-disciplinary domains.

The target audience of ISSC2026 ranges from Senior researchers to Ph.D. and Master students. Researchers and engineers from companies are very welcome, and may greatly benefit from the broad vision provided by this conference.

ISSC 2026 will be hosted by the University of Limerick, located on Ireland’s picturesque west coast. This year’s conference will take place on UL’s award-winning campus, renowned for its riverside setting and modern research facilities. The conference banquet will be held in the elegant University Concert Hall Pavilion, offering a memorable evening for all attendees. With an excellent venue and an exciting technical programme, ISSC 2026 is set to be an event not to be missed..

We invite academic and industrial research papers from all the topics listed. All accepted contributions will be indexed by IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE requirements (including authorship), and meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

ISSC2026 will present Best Paper Awards which should not be missed.
