Poster Workshop

About the Workshop

This poster workshop provides students with an opportunity to present their work in a supportive and interactive environment.

Unlike traditional conference submissions, this workshop focuses on visual communication, discussion, and constructive feedback rather than full research papers.

Submissions are welcome from both academic and industry-oriented projects, including early-stage ideas, ongoing work, and applied research.

Poster Submission Guidelines

Participants are invited to submit a research or project poster for inclusion in the workshop.

Submission requirements:

  • Posters must be submitted in PDF or PowerPoint format

  • Recommended size: A0 portrait

  • Work may be ongoing, preliminary, or completed

  • No full paper submission is required

Submissions will be reviewed for relevance and clarity. Accepted participants will present their posters during the workshop session and receive feedback from peers and reviewers. Posters must be submitted by email to academicISSC2026@ul.ie

Workshop Format

This poster workshop showcases work developed by students based in China, presented as part of an international academic collaboration.

Posters will be exhibited during the conference in Ireland, providing attendees with an opportunity to explore student work across a range of topics and disciplines.

While students will not be present in person, their work will be represented and assessed as part of the workshop.

Exhibition & Evaluation

All posters will be displayed on-site in a dedicated session during the conference.

  • Posters will be reviewed and assessed by attending academic representatives

  • Dean Zheng will be present to evaluate submissions

  • Attendees will be able to view and engage with the work throughout the session

The session is designed to highlight international student research and encourage cross-institutional visibility.

Recognition & Outcomes

The workshop aims to recognise high-quality student work and promote academic collaboration.

  • Posters will be evaluated based on clarity, originality, and presentation

  • Selected submissions will receive awards and recognition

  • Participation provides international exposure for student projects

Awards will be presented during the conference.
